KAVIAR GAUCHE is Germany's leading bridal couture brand and internationally known for its iconic wedding gowns. The label was launched in 2004 with a guerrilla fashion show in front of the Paris department store Colette and is nowadays the ‘go to address’ for fashion brides in the German-speaking countries. The designers, Alexandra Roehler and Johanna Kühl, both graduated in fashion design from Esmod before founding their label in Berlin. Like no other designers they represent modern glamour made and produced in Germany. Since the launch of their first collection, there has been a remarkable hype surrounding the fashion label. Its many admirers include high-profile celebrities such as Florence Welch, Toni Garrn, Caro Daur and Heike Makatsch. A sense of cool seduction and unconventional luxury is achieved in the interplay of texture, transparency and volume. The label’s hallmarks are understated elegance, graceful design and contrasting elements. KAVIAR GAUCHE is presenting its bridal and red carpet collections regularly at Paris Fashion Week and is frequently featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and other important high fashion  magazines.  In addition to the collections, the desigerns launch accessoires for a head to toe Kaviar Gauche look.

To ensure the highest production & quality standards Kaviar Gauche established long term relationships with our partner and suppliers. All dresses are made in and around Berlin out of 96% european fabrics (spain, italy & france) to keep the carbon footprint as small as possible. Most dresses are made directly to order to avoid overproduction and minimize waste.
